MB PUPPY STARTER COURSE (L1)<\/h2>\n<p>This course is designed for 2-6 month old retriever puppies whose owners want to establish a common language and a mutually effective relationship with their dogs.<\/p>\n<p>Course topics include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Dog needs, body language, communication methods, and various signals<\/li>\n<li>How to praise and reward: hot\/cold rewards, when treats work and when they don\u2019t<\/li>\n<li>How to teach words that lead to technical and choreographic skills<\/li>\n<li>Contact and different types of contact<\/li>\n<li>Handling, touching, meeting strangers, children, vets, and other dogs<\/li>\n<li>Socialization \u2013 what it is and what it is not<\/li>\n<li>Social anxiety, reactivity, and ways to prevent them<\/li>\n<li>Walking on a leash without pulling<\/li>\n<li>Retriever traits and characteristics<\/li>\n<li>Fetching and delivering items<\/li>\n<li>Influencing your dog\u2019s mental state<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The course includes 8 in-person sessions and a virtual lecture on Zoom. From April to October, training sessions are held outdoors in Harjumaa. During winter, sessions take place indoors at Rannam\u00f5isa PetCity, <a href=\"https:\/\/maps.app.goo.gl\/wnjWofuj2DYTKyjm6\">Rannam\u00f5isa tee 8, 13516 Tallinn<\/a>. MB CONTINUATION COURSE (L2)<\/h2>\n<p>This course is for dog owners and their dogs who have completed the Puppy Starter Course and wish to expand their skills.<\/p>\n<p>Course topics include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>How handler body language, voice, and posture influence dog performance and relationships<\/li>\n<li>The need for acting skills in handling and emotional dog management<\/li>\n<li>How to train persistence, calmness, and focus (engagement)<\/li>\n<li>Impulse control and ways to train it in daily life<\/li>\n<li>Task chaining (backchaining) and setting training goals<\/li>\n<li>Dealing with adolescence without losing the relationship<\/li>\n<li>Object search, retrieval, nose work, and tracking<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The course includes 8 in-person sessions held at various locations depending on the topic. Whether you aim for hunting, retriever trials, or simply want to offer your dog enjoyable activities, this course is highly beneficial for both handler and dog.<\/p>\n<p>Topics covered include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Recall, steadiness, and heelwork<\/li>\n<li>Marking, memory, focus, stability, and steadiness during throws<\/li>\n<li>Stop whistle<\/li>\n<li>Directional commands: forward, left, right<\/li>\n<li>Steadiness in the presence of other dogs<\/li>\n<li>Searching, finding, retrieving, and proper delivery<\/li>\n<li>Close search and wide-area search<\/li>\n<li>Tracking<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The course includes 8 in-person sessions held at various locations depending on the topic. If your dog struggles to focus around other dogs, or you prefer distraction-free training, you can book a private session.
